Toii shook her head” no no its okay, Im awake ,its o-o-okay “She smiled and got to her feet ” Is very okay I j-just git caught up in work and m-must of fallen asleep. I am I’m okay.”
She bowed as soon as she got to her feet, letting out a tiny yawn.” I w-w-would love to do s-s-some sort of t-trade, would you l-like a tour?”
"Is that so, then it pleases to me that I will not keeping you from counting stars."
Didier removed some documents from under her arm, spreading them all out before Toii. This knocked the majority of the other paperwork that the rabbit had finished. There wasn’t so much as an apology, only a crooked grin.
"A tour sounds lovely, I will leave the contracts here while you act as a guide - after all you would need some time to overlook some of my products as well.” The chuckle vibrated in the back of her throat. “I trust there are no objections?”
THE more the female Puppeteer wandered further into the Zone, the more she felt lost and totally out of place for numerous reasons. One, unlike the main first four Zones, it appeared that Zone 8 held only neutral colors with a tint of brown. Her own purple-blue-green-red-white-black-orange-hued outfit instantly pointed a giant metaphorical flashing arrow sign at her, blaring in big letters, “INTRUDER ALERT, INTRUDER ALERT!” And if that wasn’t obvious enough, others could probably immediately tell that she was a human girl, not an Elsen. Maybe next time she should be more prepared and disguise herself before entering a new Zone. Although the notion sounded laughable when she thought over it again.
She shook her head and muttered to herself, “Where’s the save block in here anyways…?” Every Zone had at least a couple of red save points somewhere, but so far, she hadn’t seen a single one. Was there even an exit out of here? It was hard to tell amongst all of the hasty, busy crowds. These Elsen were really into their work today.
Turning on her heel, the small stranger’s eyes grew and incredulously stared up ahead. “H-Huh??”
In the distance, she caught sight of someone approaching her. Was it one of the workers? No…this figure was much too tall and slender. Besides, she sensed a powerful aura coming from this person, which she recognized as a Guardian’s aura.
The confirmed fact didn’t exactly relax her.
But at this point, did she really have a choice? She didn’t know where to go, and plus, she was terribly outnumbered. So the option of fleeing was discarded. She couldn’t even teleport again because it would use up too much Competence. In the end, the best decision for her to make was to stay rooted to the spot and wait.
"…um, hello~" The girl greeted the towering figure with an uneasy smile once they met. "My name’s Celeste. Uh, I-I’m sorry, I’m not here to cause trouble or anythin’. I’m just…I’m a little lost a-and…erm…" Her discomfort was starting to affect her way of speaking and broke her composure slightly.
Puppeteers shouldn’t be intimidated. They should remain calm, cool, collected; assume a confident stance in the face of other characters.
…Yeah, it was easier said than done sometimes.
As the guardian drew closer she has realised that the young girl was not only colourful - she bore no resemblance to any of her kin. Most interesting it was to see such a vibrant species - she had debated within her mind whether or not it was necessary to poke and prod her for further study. Her heels came to an abrupt stop just a few inches away from the stranger - features were shaded underneath the safety of her hat.
"Ah greetings mademoiselle~ I am Didier Von Seeth, Guardian of this prosperous zone. I do believe I have not had the pleasure."
Despite her appearance, her voice practically purred with whimsical undertones. She took hold of the girl’s hand and lightly placed a kiss upon it, returning her sheepish grin with a wry one of her own.
"Lost you say? My poor little lamb, how most fortunate that you had found your way here! For if you continued wandering aimlessly… why I dread to even think what might have happened."
The woman fixed her posture, taking the opportunity to straighten. her tie.
"Yet I am most curious as to how you managed to get past security…"
